According to video footage shared by ESPN on Instagram, the arena erupted into loud boos rather than the standard cheers reserved for celebrity guests.
Jenner appeared visibly surprised by the hostile reception, widening her eyes and pointing toward the big screen to alert her boyfriend. Chalamet remained completely unfazed by the crowd, simply grinning and sitting calmly as the sports fans voiced their displeasure.

The negative reaction from the Cleveland crowd failed to ruin the evening for the high-profile couple. Shortly after the stadium boos subsided, Jenner and Chalamet were seen laughing together, whispering, and sharing a kiss on the sidelines.
